So nowI have half of a A-Spec Kit

I just had the wierdest crap happen to me at the dealer. I took my 2 week old 06 Anthracite TL into the dealer to have a warped rear left rocker panel replaced. It came from the factory that way. After waiting about a hour, the service rep comes out and give me my keys. I go out side to look at my car, a low-and-behold the service tech had replaced my rocker panel with the driver side A-Spec kit. I don't know how in the *(&( you could make that mistake When I went back to tell the service rep he could not believe it until I made him come compare the left and right sides of the car.

At first they were going to take the A-Spec side skirt back off until I stated I was a little concerned with them damaging the car. The then decided that they would put on passenge side A-Spec so it would match free of charge.

For what its worth, the service rep was very apolgetic but I could not help but laugh as I had actually gotten the better end of the deal. Anyone one else with only the sides installed. Look goods (especially since I already had the trunk lip spoiler) but now I need to decide if I should get the front and the rear installed.

Any opinions ???

actually, I think just doing the side spoilers would still look nice. The beauty of the aspec kit is that each of the components can stand on their own (i.e. just the front, just the back, or just the sides)

Hey Jeff....to really set off the side skirts, you need the Aspec front lip. Others will see the front Aspec & the sides before they see the rear Aspec, unless they are in your rear trying to catch up to you.

That's the best part, he didn't even know what was going on (and obviously the tech didn't, either). Good job landing the other side...I would say get the front and rear lips, as well...if you check out pictures here in the Photograph subforum, you'll see lots of full ASPEC kits, and it looks pretty good.

Oh yeah, welcome to the forum!!

No....you don't have to buy the front lip spoiler from me, I was just responding to a post to leave the side skirts only. Once again you don't need the whole Aspec Kit, but you need the front lip spoiler to set it off the right way. I have the whole Aspec kit and I just purchase another Aspec front lip spoiler at Open Road Acura Of Wayne NJ for $300.00. It seems you can get a better deal when you purchase the whole Aspec kit.

Where is this dealership at? I would totally take my 04 TL there for service , and I might end up leaveing with a 06 TL.

But definitely get the front lip, I got mine install 2 weeks ago, loving it so far.

The pictures are cool.....you know what it looks good with just the Aspec side skirts. You can actually get away with just the skirts. Really if you wanted, just the front Aspec spoiler. Jeff TL is clean and it looks good, welcome to the forum. You made out on that deal, the deal of 2006.

Welcome to the forum. Everyone here is all very helpful and thank you for sharing your A-Spec side skirt only pics. Looks great. Definitely recommend getting the front lip installed. I think there is a group buy going on for $250. Check the sales forum.

I agree, it looks just fine with just the side skirts. The front and rear lips complete the kit, though, and add symmetry.
