I bought my TL04 last year August.
Only one month after from the purchase, the steering wheel fluid was leak.
After I fixed that from Acua dealer, my car sometimes make some rattling sound when the the transmission change 1st gear to 2nd gear.
I asked about that to my dealer, they said they couldn't find nothing wrong.
Finally, I found my car's rear seat get wet. I am sure that that's not from the dropping rain from windows. It's from the cars bottom!!
I know I was unlucky at choosing car, but don't I have anything to complain about this unlucky ?
I know my situation is quit far from the Lemon law, but I bought new car and that has so many troubles.
Now even I want to change that car, I paid so much tax which can't get back!
That's so much lose for me.
If you have any idea about my situation, please let me know.
I have no idea..... but this situation makes me crazy.
Thank you.

A rattling noise when changing gears and the dealer couldn't find anything wrong? My friend, you need a second opinion, is there another dealer in the Buffalo area? That's definitely not normal. I'm at nearly 27k miles and have never heard such a noise from my tranny.
Sorry to hear about your troubles.

I've had my rear passenger seat get wet. It seemed to be coming from under the car. My dealer could not find anything conclusive. They replaced my seat, and it has never happened again.
I second those who stated that you should try to find another dealer.

People.. stop tolerating this crap from Acura.. File LEMON LAW on the damn thing like so many of us have.
Take the problems in, make sure the ones that persist get documented, and that you give them 3 times to fix it, or whatever the law states in your area. Then file with the BBB and Honda. They get one more time to fix it in general (varies). then they have to buy it back. Quit wasting your time taking it in time and time and time again to a company who has PROVEN that they aren't building a solidly quality car across the entire production line and they need to start feeling the repercussions of it. They don't care what we are going thru, they don't care how much time they waste, and they aren't interested in fixing any of it long term or the 05 wouldn't have half the problems the 04 did.
Start getting rid of the cars, and when Honda sees they aren't going to make the production numbers and X number of them are coming back, then they'll feel it and remedy it.
For 35K, we deserve better.
I for one know Honda will not be getting any more of my damn money once they takes this ripe piece of rotten crap back and pay off my loan. So unlike the Japanese to succumb to vanity and pride.

amen... But as along as people are willing to put up with it... honda will not make any changes if they have the market. Having to document everything is a pain, but you have to do it and stay on them. I hear the comment that all car makers have issues. Sure they do..
Look at the price point.... It is below the avg since the claim is that acura brings in a product for a price point. They sure do, but I would be willing to spent 1000 more if they were willing to build them better..
