you'll have to do some modding before convincing me that the TL AWD's the way to go! i love Acura in general, but I can't seem to swallow the new TL completely. i'll start feeling easy with it, and enjoying it...but then it'll come back and hit me in the head! Acura's customer service...you can't beat. Not even Lexus makes us feel so welcome! i'm about 50/50 with the new TL i sorta want one...

 

Not gonna lie, I was handed a TL today for a loaner and I can certainly see why you made the switch....I am still upset I missed the partout :-( I had my eyes on those door sills!

Why didn't you wait for the 2010 AWD TL manual?

The 335i coupe with a manual and a few options isn't that much more then a loaded 2009 AWD TL.

335i = $55k Sticker the way i wanted it... got them down to $48k

SH-AWD TL - $43k Sticker, got them down to $38k

10gs = $200 a month more....

Plus honestly, i would KILL myself with that much power..b/c everybody KNOWS that i would chip that car, exhaust, intake, upgrade my downpipes... id be running 12sec 1/4 miles

I cant have a 6spd, b/c i use my car 400-500 miles a week for work... too much shifting.. and Long Island traffic

 

Hey Allon I was at the dealer yesterday getting the rear light changed. Some dude came in with a wdp 4g with the factory kit on it and tinted it looked really good. I think you should go with the factory kit instead of the RJ one if he makes it. Some nice chrome 20"s, tint, and the kit will make the car look classy but yet still like a beast as well.

 

Factory kit = ordered

Tints = Next weekend

my 08 Type s is the last purchase from acura. Can't stand the 4g design. Just reminds me of american cars.

If I ever got rid of my 06 TL, I would like a 2010 AWD manual TL, or a BMW 135i, 335i, or Camaro SS/RS all manuals. I only drive 65 miles a month to work and back.
