So I removed my badges but...
...I can still read the "Acura" and "tl" left over from the glue. I got all of the glue completely off but it wont go away...it's hard to explain. I tried waxing the car but I can still see it. What did you guys use on your trunks after you took your badges off?

yea I noticed that^ when I took the glue off because it has a bunch of barely visible scratches from my fingernail! it's not super noticeable but it really annoys me. would just wax be the best thing to make it look as good as possible now?

How old is the car?
I did mine after about a 8 months and still had a little ghosting. A lot of goo gone to get every last bit of glue off and then a few rub downs with some cleaner wax got rid of all of the outlines. You might also try some ScratchX to get rid of any little scratches you put in it. Good luck.

Get some bug, tar remover, a can or goo-gone and some compound. Spray the goo gone on pretty liberally, let it sit for about 20 minutes. Put the bug and tar remover on, dont be scared to use alot to completely cover the lettering. wait another 10 minutes and give it some elbow grease, its not going to be easy your really gonna have to rub for a little while but 99% will come off. Take a wet towel and wipe the chemicals off, use a little rubbing compund to remove any residual residue that can still be seen, wax and then your done.

Christ don't be mixing chemicals on the paint. And don't be rubbing hard .. you'll mar the paint .. And don't use a compound .. some are pretty abrasive and can mar like crazy ..
If you have the glue all off then just something like ScratchX on a soft cloth and rub easily .. be patient. ot will come off.
And stay away from the wet sanding ..

All those other suggestions are good too...I'd give those options a shot first...after that if you want use a product called "Awesome" you have to dilute it though other wise you can do some damage...worked for me though...good luck!

I have a 04 WDP, just did mine in November, and you can't really see mine at all
I took a small piece of a towel, soaked the thing with Goo Gone, opened the trunk, and let it sit up there for about 15 minutes. Got a microfiber towel and rubbed like hell. Then I got some stuff called Scratch Out that I purchased at Auto Zone (it's in a yellow bottle), I slapped some of that on the car, and then got out my power buffer. I wasn't hard on the car at all with the buffer. Everytime I wax my car, I work on it a little bit. It's not noticable at all unless you get down and look at it closely with the sun hitting it just right.
I guess I'm either very lucky or very skilled. More likely the first one

Cleaner Wax from Meguiars or 3M will do the trick. I did that for myself, msala and Trew even after his brilliant sand paper theory. That will do the trick, you do not need anything else. This is exactly what cleaner wax is intended to be used for. Particles that are embedded in the paint, which is what you have. Using Compound and other stuff will do the trick also but its harsher abrasives basically cleaner wax on steroids and you never want to use harsher abrasives if you can get away with milder ones, for obvious reasons.

This should do the trick...http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scratch-Rem.../dp/B00196GYM2. It comes in very handy for other touch up type jobs on your car. Well worth it.

I had to get aggressive on my 05.
I used a eraser wheel for the adhesive tape. A light wet sand action with pre-soaked 2000 grit, buff, polish, perfect like it was never there. No ghost outline what so ever.
I had a bad outline on mine, lots of crud stuck to the paint, and a clear, visible impression where the emblems were.
