I've been in that kind of situation except I had no gallon in the trunk, low gas had to get somewhere so I drove as fuel effieciently as I could, at first it started at 50 then 45 by mile 6, but yeah I made it from UConn campus in Tolland, CT to some rest stop in NH, approximately 50~60 miles with the light on.

By the way I kind of chuckle when I see new threads posted that mirror older ones, most of the threads on Azine now have become repeats in the 3G section.

Oh and if you draft trucks, like maybe 10~15 feet away, I had a lowered suspension by about 1~1.5" you can definitely notice better fuel economy.

I've been on long enough now to start to notice that...like waves of old ideas and threads that get brought back up later.

My Dad told me he used to drive a car so light (in Europe of course) that if he drafted behind an 18 wheeler he could completely let go of the gas and the car would almost not lose speed.
