All my lights are smoked/blacked out on my car now (thanks to JnC) besides the side mirror blinker. Anyone know how to do this? Is there something like DI-Noc CF sticker but in tint form?

no problem, there are a few different tint shades you can go with. i got mine from him, and they're great.

 

does he paint them or can i just put a tint film on top? I was hoping to just do it the simple way, without taking out my mirrors and all.

 

i haven't put mine on yet, but it is just a tint film. i'm just going to apply them right on the mirror, cut and paste. i got enough to do the side mirror signals, rear reverse, front fogs, and sidemarkers.

i also got BOTH grades of tint, enough for each application, to see which look i like best.

your thread got me thinking about them lol...i forgot i even had them. i'll probably put them on tomorrow during the jpipe install. thanks for reminding me haha

 

haha, np. I was looking at my car and was thinking, everything is nice and tinted, but those mirror signals looked so out of place. I wonder why Acura didn't smoke those as well on the Type-S while they were smoking everything else, guess they forgot as well :P

 

ch33se1. just buy a sheet few feet of tint vinyl from rvinyl.com and over lays it, not hard to do and cheap, if you can't do it right the first time just simply peel it off and reaply.

I got mine from Acktl05 also. If you have never worked with vinyl it's a little challenging since our side markers are curved so much. You will need a heat gun or hair dryer. I just used the wife's hair dryer. I got the darker 20% tint.

 

I've done the DI-Noc cf on the interior already so this shouldn't be too hard.
