Slight Brake Squealing on '06 TL MT

I just got my 06 TL MT for more than a week. I did the Manual Tranny Fluid change to the GM one and it definitely fixed the 3rd gear problem. Now I notice some squealing noise most likely coming out from the front Brembo brakes. The squealing noise is not always there, just sometimes. When I bought the car, the rear rotor and pad have been replaced. I checked the front pad and it still have some life on it (roughly 5-6mm). So I am kinda wondering what I should do for it. Any suggestions?

I did checked some of the old threads and it looks like this is common among Brembo brakes on TL-S and TL MT.

I have this problem too. I had Acura replace the pads to be safe when I first got the car (free lul) and it didn't help. Over time it went away. I recently replaced em with Hawks and its doing it again. Maybe its just new pads? I noticed when its all warmed up it doesn't squeal one bit but when its cold or if the brakes sit for too long without being applied it squeals. I think you just need to apply brake anti-squeal and let it sit long enough before you slide the pads in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong or if there's another solution.

I had a similar issue with my previous 05 and it was actually the master brake cylinder/drum. There was very slight warping, and Acura tried to slightly shave it down which would get rid of most of it but it would come back a little more this time. Did that a few times but had to replace... ended up blowing out a couple calipers - they shaved so much off there was hardly anything left!

Moral of the story for me is if that does end up being the issue, just get them replaced.

Shall I reapply anti-squeal for both rear and front? Then what anti-squeal brand do you recommend
