Not sure if theres a thread for this yet but i'm just curious if anyone has a front lip below their 07-08 aspec? And i've seen a few TL's with side splitters if anyone has a DIY.

that's the sti lip, can be found on ebay

 

it has been discussed that the sti lip alone doesnt fit great with the kit you have.

Although if you are willing to buy two of them (about $50 per lip) you could ultimately cut them both in NEAR half, something like 60%/40%. Then join the two large halves together and it'll fit and look great.

As for side skirt extensions. Try ebay searching side skirt extensions. There are a lot of universal options but none I have been brave enough to try yet.

2006 but I believe he used two to make it that wide. Other users have posted the same lip being much more narrow. I could be wrong. Buy one, 2006 sti lip. If it doesnt fit buy a second make them one.

 

I have the 04 - 05 Lip and it doesnt fit right. I just bought the 06 - 07 and it is worse.

I would look at cutting and putting two together, that would actually make sense but how do you get them together and bonded that looks good?

2005 STI Lip

I highly suggest getting the 2006 over the 2005 as the middle section on the 2006 isnt as thick and bulky.

As for joining the two... I wouldn't. I would just make a perfect straight cut and let them touch. Use screws like half an inch from the edge so where they touch it stays connected to the bumper.
Like how the corolla has the rear bumper. It'll look better with the sti lip since it is black.

I do like the idea of cutting two and not worrying about "joining"them but I am afraid the OCD in my wouldnt let that fly!

I have the 05 and sucks. I like the 06 - 07 just needs fab to work.

 

Thats exactly how i wanted my side splitters and front lip to be 😍! Nice car btw 😉. Do you have any DIY threads on how you made that lip?

 

Bruce custom design, researched, and fabbed it through a shop. nothing that you just throw together.
