Should I Wait?
I made a deal on a new TL last night, I wanted a SatiSilver/Ebony/Nav/Automatic, whic the dealer didn't have any in stock. I was called by the dealer this morning and they said I have 2 choices.
1. They located one at another dealer. It has approximately 100 miles on it and can be here by next Tuesday (with another 100 or so miles on it).
2. They have one just like I want coming from the factory with 0 miles but won't be here until the 13th or 14th.
What is your opinion? Do I take delivery of a car that apparantly been test driven or do I wait 2 weeks on the fresh one? Help!

Forgot to mention that an Anthracie/Ebony with Nav arrived today. Although the Silver is the color I want, I could take the Anthracite and hope the color grows on me. Has anyone bought an Anthracite and regretted it or like me had their mind set on another color but bought an Anthracite and have no regrets?

Wait two weeks for the one with less miles. A new car should have less then 10 miles when you get it. The one with the miles was probably a demo and you really don't know how the car was driven and what condition it's in. As a fair compensation, the dealer should reduce the price for the 200 miles you haven't driven.
Get the color you had your sights on and that way you'll have no regrets after.

I went back and forth between silver and anthracite, but ended up with the anthracite and haven't looked back. But, it is a personal preference, so get what you want and don't compromise or sacrifice. Whatever you do, get it new (so i'm with everyone else, wait wait wait) and make sure you do a through delivery inspection.

How bad do you need a new car? If possible, I'd actually wait a few months for the 06's. If that's not an option, you should definitely wait the two weeks for the car with less miles. Even if they discount, like someone else said, you never know how that car was driven. I was gunning the TL I test drove, so it's safe to say others were doing it as well(if that was a demo car). As far as color choice, get what you want. Personally, I'd pick Anthracite(even though I picked black, lol). If you're dead set on silver though, go with that. The car should be perfect for the amount of money you're paying for it. What if Anthracite doesn't grow on you? You'll just be disappointed in the end...good luck in whatever choice you make.

Yeah, I agree with EnJ that you should wait for the 06 if you can. If not, get the Anthracite!! You'll have no regrets choosing that over the SSM. My bro has SSM, and he's jealous of my Anthracite - especially when mine outshines his SSM after he Zaino's his car, and mine hasn't been washed in days.

I should've waited... couldn't wait a month for the black 350Z to arrive from Japan. But the antracite is cool. Loving the HFL
Oh yeah, i would wait for the 06. Does anyone know how different the 06 will be?

I was very close to picking one up, but i went and pulled the trigger on another vehicle. The g35 was just too damn expensive in the coupe value, to their credit they hold their value well.

when the 06 comes out, i'd expect u to pay MSRP for it...For now, you can get the 05 model at about the invoice price. As far as wuts going to be new for 06, i don't think there are any news of it yet.
If u do decide to get the 05 model, i'd wait a few weeks for lower mileage car. Only God (and the delivery guy) knows how the car was mistreated while coming from another dealership to you.... :p

Two weeks is nothing, a lot can happen with 100 miles, like how did it get their, was it properly broken in? Wait it out, beats the hell out of having a bunch of problems pop up which will leave the car at the dealer for more than 10 more days, but hey, maybe an RL loaner.
