I have an 05 ssm tl and im thinking about painting the emblems on the trunk black. what do you guys think? I tried looking for some pics but couldnt find them on a silver tl. Oh, and should i debadge? need your guys opinion please!

 

You should do a one-off and re-badge it.

Honestly ask yourself - what do YOU want your car to look like?? I de-badged mine 1st chance I got. As far as painting black I don't think it would flow with CBP, not sure on your color.

 

I've seen it done on SSM and it looks amazing. If i wasnt lazy i would find the thread

Look through my threads, I painted mine. I'd locate pics for you but I'm on my iPad and that's too much work.

I since removed the Acura and TL badges though. Thought it looked too busy. The black A looks nice though.

 

It does look great on a silver TL. If you do it, you might consider continuing the theme-maybe get black wheels too.
