I was messing around Photoshop tonight seeing what our cars would look like with a retail red interior.

Turns out it would have been pretty sweet!

Some member here had dye his "taupe" interior to red. Honestly the TL concept model already had the red interior.

BMW has been doing red for a long time as have a few other brands. I finally snagged a new vehicle with red interior it is striking to say the least and an amazing combo with silver exterior. Hopefully some of the new design queues emerging in other brands will find their way into Acura

Yeah that's basically what got me thinking of what it would look like, but I wanted to add a few more details like the center console part and leather inserts. If the image had shown more of the dash, I would have tried to keep the red going on the bottom part.

Saw that TL A-Spec concept as well, they should have at least kept the idea of the red interior.

After going to the Montreal Auto Show today and seeing a similar seat to the EndlessRPM (but stock, I think it was a Jaguar), I might just go for it once my seats are getting a bit too torn.

 

Red interior with either black, white, or silver exterior- can't go wrong

Not bad, same styling as original but with the colors you want.

No mention on whether they also fit the Type-S or not though.

Went to DC autoshow this weekend. They had a deep blue A Spec with red leather so they are following the leads of other manufacturers though the blue and red was not an attractive combo IMHO. Think superman...pass!

 

Im not the biggest fan of the red either but it depends on the color of your car and your personal preference. Since my car is black/black I would love to get the regular covers in a light color. Like white or tan or grey or even light blue. Even though my seats now are almost perfect, the contrast would be awesome.

 

Have to agree on that. I did want to know what it looked like red, but having a kinetic blue TL, it would have too much of a contrast.
