If you don't mind having an incorrect shift pattern, this is the BEST knob I have ever felt/used. Feels great in your hand and shifts awesome with the added weight.

(i use the RK6A-L version)

Maven Countersunk Shift Knob is the best for the 6MT.

There are many reviews on this site.

You just tired of it or having some issues? I looking into this set for the short shifter and the knob itself (I'm more into the short throw + short rod look).

Anyone tried the Mugen Si shift knob? Part number 54102-XVJ-000 and cost $116 straight from any online Honda dealer.

5-speed version for the FIT 54102-XTK-000 $87+ from online honda dealers:

Mugen also has a carbon fiber knob with either a black or red stripe around it ($100+ on ebay):

Honda also sells a yellow 6MT knob & boot for the S2000 CR 54102-S2A-C00 $53 at the dealer:

....and a red one from the JDM Civic Type R 54102-SMT-E01 ($30+ on ebay)

Not a fan of metal knobs. They burn your hands in summer and are frigid in winter. I had an aluminum knob before and wouldn't do it again.

I love my Maven. You learn to cover it up in the summer though when parked.

Yes, as long as you get the correct thread. Just don't get a knob that has etchings for a manual, because that's just wrong

From what I understand it doesn't matter what the transmission is. The only thing you have to look at is the thread that allows the knob to be screwed on. I don't know what it is exactly, but I believe all Hondas/Acuras use the same size.
