I have an 08 TL I have two questions..

I want to swap out my shift knob for a nicer one. I think it's too small and the leather is rough on it.. Could just be me.. Anyone know of good alternatives that just screw in? I like the Lexus ones... I have an AT tranny btw.

How does the third brake light pop out? I have a dead bug in there and I want to get it out of there.. It's got some give so i'm scared to break it..

I've got this Momo shift knob and like it a lot. Got it on Ebay for $88. Not sure about the brake light question though....

im assuming the third brake light thats located on top. if it is, that cover would just pop off, just pry it. might be a little hard but it comes off, its just clips holding it.

Gotcha. In what direction should I tugg? Towards the glass or toward the front of the car?

I have the A-Spec/Type S leather shift knob with the carbon fiber going down the middle... i like it alot better then the OEM all leater one!

Feels awesome! Its as heavy as a brick, which I love, but it did require a slight change in how hard I threw the shifter around It is hot in the summer and ice in the winter, but nothin but love. And this thing is solid metal so its the least of my wear worries on the interior...if anything I could see me breaking part of the shifter mechanism if I everget too aggressive with it. Overall it was a great purchase!!!!
