I think blue stitching in a base or red stitching in a tl-s would look nice.

I'm not feeling it really. And the 23 step instructions to install it make me want it less. For all that work you might as well go ahead and install the short shifter too.

How are you not feeling it? You can have them make it anyway you want? That part is actually not that hard to get to.. Ive done it 5 times already.. lol

Im probably going to get it black with red stitching..

Looks nice, but I'd keep the stock shift boot.

If anything I would use a Type R shift boot from a DC2. Thats what I used to use on my older hondas. Speaking of which might put one in the TL just for the hell of it just hope its long enough.

How much is it? Anything under 100 is worthless unless it massages my wrist while i shift.

They offer it free to someone if they have not made one for your car as long as you make a DIY..

If you want a matching armrest.. it is 79.00.. you can even get extra padding for I think 5.00 more, which is what I would do, because the TL armrest always looks like a flat tire lol ..

I've got an automatic, but I also like the carbon fiber emergency brake too.

It's the bump at the top of the boot. If it was a smoother transition from boot to knob it would look better.

redline goods are the guys i worked with to design the shift boot for the TL (REALLY GREAT PRODUCTS). I have the original prototype in my car as we speak. If you go to the installation instructions you will see the boot and the write up. I also have a prototype Armrest that i did a write up on as well on the same site.

Go for it!
I got the regular sized boot for my model with red stitching, nothing fancy. $40.35 shipped. The boot at the cheapest OEM online store was $90+ before shipping, if their not on backorder.

I just googled 'Redline accesories coupon code' and found a nissian forum with a thread that had a shit load of people buying this stuff. Copied the latest coupon code listed and populated the coupon field with it, and it gave 5%.

yep, and i'm hopefully going to be working with them again after i get the car back and some more $

But seriously guys, they make really high quality pieces. The pieces i got were all top grade calf skin. All the stiching is professionally hand done and the finish is perfect. The prices in my opinion are very fair for what you get. I make leather accessories and stuff on the side and i know how hard it is to make those kinds of stitching and they really have their stuff down.
