Bottomed out TL?
Bottomed out TL?
ever bottom out the TL where the shocks compress to maximum if you go into a bump ?
I had to go offroad today due to closure of a bridge and as I got off the road onto a 'muddy' trail... i heard a SUPER ASS LOUD bang on the front end and then the rear when the car left the road.. i dont think it hit anything.. just the shocks bottoming out?
any damage possible or anything i gotta look out for.. drove it for a good 1.5hrs after that and dont really feell anything different.

i've bottomed out a few times. you'll be fine as long as anything isn't leaking (oil pan is right at the bottom). you probably just hit the supports on either sides.
man, i used to SWEAT bottoming out - it isn't so bad any more. car isn't "meant" for it, but it knows how to deal with it.
