at first, stop changing the switches after 300k and didn't really do the 3x3 because plug got stripped.....

330K is a good long life

I'm not recommending costly surgery, but if it was me I'd find a trans for a grand and slap it in just to keep the miles rolling toward half a mil...But that's just me.
Sometimes you got say goodbye..Sorry for your loss.

That’s impressive amount of miles! I never imprinted my butt cheeks into a car that far. In fact my top score is 130k miles on a 2001 CL-S.
Im sorry she went on you but testament to how well you maintained it, that is a solid reading on the mileage.
What will you get next?

Can he get an RL tranny and use his oem mounts and harnesses? I ask because Type S tanny may be hard to find locally if OP goes to junkyard...

Hell, Justinspace got an engine for smiething like $650 and installed for another $650... So, an engine can be had at $1300, if memory serves me correct...

Do you have any pics of the car so we can see the condition? 330K, good job bro!!!

7k seems pretty steep. Getting it rebuilt alone should cut the cost down at minimum by 50%. Maybe check local craiglists and salvage yards. Possibly could get one cheap. Keep the miles rolling.

I was skeptical when you said tranny as these have an extremely low failure rate. But at those miles...awesome to see it was just was an axle.Keep it rolling.

Your car will be displayed at a dealership. They had a civic at Honda near us with 500k miles or so in the showroom.

Funny. They don't seem to display all of the 2nd and 3rd gen TLs with dead transmissions and well under 150K on them.
