shaved visor warnings
i had to sand off the vanity mirror warning with fine sand paper. ( i think 250 grit)

You may want to take the visors off because it gets messy, but the treads on the screws strip easily.
So, if u dont want to remove it, you can cover the interior.

The bumpy part of the plastic keeps it from scratching. I suggest just sanding down the part with the warning.
The sticker on the other side can be removed with either of these products:

Blot one end of the sticker & let it soak in until you can peel up a corner. Keep applying solution to the back of the sticker & rub it into the fabric as you peel up. Take your time & do a good job. You might want a face mask for the sanding.

BTW, I don't think 250 grit is considered "fine" sand paper.....

Yes, but the sticker was in the fabric & not easy to get off. if u dont' take it off slowly it will leave more residue. u can see where the sticker was if you look closely, but it looks neat & even & is way better looking than the warning, which shows through the windshield when the visor is down.
Did mine some time ago.
I used Minerial Spirits. The "Goof" is too smelly, leaving an enduring chemical smell.
Had glue residue remaining on the fabric. Did a search on this forum. Someone said to use an iron with steam. IT WORKS. Place a t-shirt between the iron and the visor. Iron (verb) over the glue residue while hitting it good with the steam button. I think it is the steam that is really doing the work. Volla, vast majority of the residue is gone. On one of my visors, there is NO HINT of the sticker ever being there. On the other, for some reason, there is still a slight trace of the residue.
Tried to remove the decal from the other side of visor -- on the mirror lid. NO LUCK. That sticker is STUCK. And, there it remains.

Actually I'm suprised. How come Canadian TL's don't require any sort of warning at all?

That's a great idea... Anyone have the PN's for the the Canadian visors (in parchment)... or maybe ebony (running a 2 tone thing inside the interior, just replaced all my fake wood with carbon fiber).
