Shaved Key hole covers

So i have searched for this and i came up with the part number for mine, but when i went there to the dealership; he wanted $17 for each. If i remember correctly some of you guys were getting them for $15 all together. I have looked on hondaacuraworld but couldn't find them. Any help will be very appreciated.

Why do you need 2? There is only 1 key hole. Drivers door.

How about them getting $35 for two bumper plugs? What a joke.

AM, I did mine. Just go to the dealership and order a rear driver's-side door cap (color matched). Mine cost me about $15.00-from the dealership. It isn't difficult to do.

Yeah, my local dealer wanted $19.00 for each plug. So I went with the deal from DatboiDennis at $10.50 for both. (which is what it should have cost to start with)

Why aren't the plugs free? Don't they come with the car? I asked my sale rep for mine and we went to the shop in the back and they had a whole box of them. He plucked two out and handed them to me.

There are two dealerships close to Indianapolis, I tried the north side and south, not owned by the same guy. They both wanted the same price, I even asked if they had some used ones and they both looked at me crazy. I guess it's just hit or miss, for my area, seems like a miss. Oh well, 10 bucks was a fair price and I got the holes plugged up nicely now.

It's a stupid mod. What's wrong with having a keyhole? And besides, what if your remote battery dies and you need to use the key.

This mod does not get my approval.

Boy is that ever a polite Canadian, you make me proud .. Its a mod .. people like doing mods .. I did it .. and if the battery dies you can pop the cover off with nearly anything and access the key hole . With the hole gone the side of the car looks so much cleaner.

No mods are stupid if the owner of the car likes it.
