shaking / vibrating.....

Okay I don't think anyone has brought this up before so here goes.....

Recently I have noticed a slight vibration in the car when I come to a complete stop, It doesn't matter how long I have been driving for, and it is very sporatic. If I were to describe it I would say it feels like the A/C fan kicking in, the thing is I'M NOT RUNNING IT
So what can it be I have had my TL for about 5 months and have 9k miles on it. It is very subtle but damn I just want to know if it is normal or not!

BTW my car is automatic / And it usually does it at a stop light and set in D5 (drive)

ANYBODY??????

Are you certain that AC OFF sign is displayed? If not, your AC is ON.

So if I understand correctly, my A/C is always on? I have the non navi so what you are trying to tell me is that even when I think the A/C is off and the display is clear, it's really on

and you mean to tell me that no one else has this issue with their TL?

If you are truly sure that the AC is not on, then it may be a bad or loose motor mount. Our cars has electronically controlled mounts which sends fluid into them at idle to reduce engine vibration from being transmitted into the frame of the car. Upon acceleration, the fluid is routed out. The dealer can diagnose this for you. A sign of bad mounts may include a "thunk" noise upon acceleration and excessive engine movement when revving the motor in Park or neutral. That's my guess.

im saying when you use the auto climate system your AC is turned on by default and to turn it off you have to press the A\C button which will displayy A\C off
if it doesnt say A\C off your A\C is RUNNING.......simple as that
do you hear a clicking sound before the vibrations start? if so then its you A\C compressor working.

why not just get it checked out by the dealer then
