Setting Window Position

When I close my drivers window on my 08 TL using the auto feature it seems to bang pretty hard at the top. Is there a way of reseting where this stops?

that seems odd, take it to the dealer, i believe there was a way, something like push it down all the way and hold it down (the switch) for a few seconds, then hold it up.. it was something like that but i'm not really sure...

the thing is though, it cud be the lining the window hits thats missing or not in there properly..because what they do is go all the way to the top, hit, keep trying for like 1/2 a second, then stop...there's no stopping point

actually the window has a noise cancellation at the top, it is supposed to do that, unless it is like really hard slam up, mine sounds like a scoop of air, it is as I stated above to cancel out noise, if you go to the dealer they will just spray some silicon on it and be like problem solved thus why their acronym is stealership

i had the same problem in my 05.... drivers side would slam up. took it to the dealer and they replaced the "window regulator and run channels" on that side. it worked, but 3 months later, its starting to do it again, so its probably something else thats causing it. good luck.
