There has been other threads on this, and no one has come up with a way to disable it. For those who don't use seatbelts, it was suggested to by a replacement buckle and always keep it in.

I have a similar issue, when I stop to enter the code to access my parents neighborhood. The only solution I found was to hit the gas, and get to my parents driveway, before I here the noise.

there has not been any real answers to this question, and even if there was, the mods wouldnt allow it.

so i guess an extra buckle is your best bet...

It goes away after 10 seconds. So maybe you should just endure it or park the car and then walk to the mailbox?

We discourage any conversations about disabling the seatbelt, because first you shouldn't do it, and second, it might cause legal problems for the forum.

Live with it. Take that any way you want to.
