I have an 05 TL base and my driver seat has 3 tears in it. Is it possible to buy a used seat and just use the lower part of it?

 

You’ll have better results taking it to an Upholsterer to get real better leather on it

 

i've had a pair of new leather seat bottoms for my -07TLS in my ebay cart for ages...need to pull the trigger on them one of these days

 

I just ordered leather color swatches (Lark; Beige; Bisque; & Ivory) from lseat.com, since it appears these people are the only ones currently offering the CL-S seat pattern, to try and get the closest match to Acura 'parchment'.

 

lseat.com just hit me up $2.66 for shipping the 'free' leather color swatches.

Do they have the black/silver? I looked roughly and didn't see them but I didn't look that hard either...

 

Every upholstery shop I've gone to has said that real leather is just too expensive, and they recommended vinyl. However, they will rebuild the cushion if needed, and they do make sure that the finish product is nice and tight.

Negative. I've messaged them on eBay, and they said that they only have it in taupe. Same goes for The Seat Shop. I wonder if The Seat Shop covers fit better than the eBay ones.

 

After three years of looking, I was able to get both front seats and the lower cushion for the rear out of a 2007 that had 60k miles on it and had recently been totaled. The Accord leather isn't quite as nice as the TL and most Accords now have issues with the seats which is why it took so long to find some good ones. If you have issues with the seats, its worth watching craigslist part outs for used seats in better condition. An upholstery shop quoted me $1500 (using the Katzkin kit) for my car because the driver's side foam would need to be redone. Just something to think about.
