I searched and couldn't find this,

can someone explain to me why my seat memory acts differently? Sometimes switching between key1 and key2 to unlock & open the door the seat adjusts automatically to the appropriate setting (key1, or key2) sometimes it doesn't. Other times when i'm sitting in the car and I hit memory1 or memory2 it will adjust the seat, other times I have to hold the button for the seat to adjust.

Any ideas? I know about the recall on memory seats, but i am under the impression that the problem there was that it isn't saving the memory setting. Mine saves it.

 

SOunds like you may have the same problem for which the service bulletin was issued. The seat memmory problem was not that it wouldn't save them its that it would "forget" after a while. My memmory module was replaced and the forgetfulness was resolved.
