we had coverking's seat covers from costco.com on my old volvo.
they looked nice (the leatherette ones), got the job done, and was waay cheaper then re upholstering the seats

Thanks, ggesq. I did search but I couldn't find them. However, those sites doesn't have pictures and cost too much.

eBay cost only $40. I guess I will go for blank and tan...

My 2 cents,

Instead of investing into seat covers, invest into good leather cleaner and conditioner to prevent creases and cracks. Seat covers mask what you can't see.

^^ Yeah I use the leather cleaner and conditioner. So far my leather looks great for an 04 TL. But from what i have seen from other members their leather didn't look too good and i might not get so lucky for free replacement. So covers would be the safest for any kind of ware and tear.

Also, what invisible seat cover mask are you talking about?

Even with seat covers you are still sitting on the leather seats (indirectly). I would still continue to maintain them with a good cleaner/conditioner.

I think seat covers defeat the purpose of having leather seats in the first place. Might as well get cloth seats (although I know you can't on the TL). You have the leather seats which look nice and are comfortable, might as well use them. It's like having A/C and not using it because you don't want to put wear on the A/C or damage it somehow, crazy.

+1 Its like those people who put those ass looking rubber bumper guards that stick onto their bumper so that they can parallel park and not get bumper damage, but they don't realize how tacky those things make their car look plus the damage from sticking that shit on the bumper.
