Screech at full-lock turn

Does anyone have a screeching noise at full-lock (so wheel turned completely to the left, in my case) ?

I thought it might be the tires rubbing and making the noise, but it appears to not be related to that... Wanted to see if anyone else has this...

Power steering screech, no doubt. Common ailment.

Usually a screech when cold is caused by a loose power steering pump belt - these belts actually snug up when they get warmer, unlike most things.

screech once car is at full lock going 1-5 MPH (ie: turning in a parking garage).

Yep. Have that belt checked. It's more of a nuisance than a broblem.

I had a screech when the car first was started until it warmed up. It kept getting longer until it went away. I took the car in to have it looked at and they found a blown seal in the PS unit. They replaced the entire PS unit after 3 days.
