Has enyone complained to Acura about no felt on the inside of the windows. Had my TL tinted a couple of months ago and there they were...those annoying scratches. There is a Dealer about an hour away that will do the felt kit for $200.00 (actually they farm it out to a tinter guy) then my tinter said he would re-tint for free...that was nice of him. If I complain enough, will Acura feel for me? They say it will take all day to do the job and the dealer will offer me a loaner.
Any suggestions/info?

 

Ask your tinter to put the felt in.

 

My tinter will not take off door panels and I called a few others and they will not deal with taking off door panels.

 

If its your only option, do it. You don't want to get it scratched again, right?

 

Okay this is the last I'm going to repeate this information (I've listed this at least 3 times).

Okay, here we go, to keep your tint from being scratched, each time you wash your car, roll down your windows, take a cotton rag (t-shirts work best) rap it around finger (you may want to spray some type of cleaner on the rag) and rub in between the rubber lips until they are clean.
