Schematic of TL exterior

Hi, does anyone have a link to decent schematic pics? I need to show the insurance company where the bodyshop screwed up & want to include pics so I can better explain what needs to be fixed. Thanks!

Been awhile since I've been on here, but back in the day, I never remembered seeing what you're looking for.....would decent pictures not do the trick? You could use paintbrush and indicate the appropriate areas that are messed up on the color photos....just a thought.

That's an option, thanks for the idea. I wanted to embed some black & white pics in the text which is why I wanted schematics but I may just have to use "regular" pics.

First time through they left specs/pits in the finish (over 100 of them), a few minor "swirl" type scratches in the clearcoat, a minor chip in the paint along one of the roof channels, left the trunk unable to close/open cleanly, loose felt on the interior of the trunk lid & the trunk lid badly scratched as well as swirled. Plus they had the car for a month & put 200 miles on it (they denied it, but their own documentation shows the mileage).

I didn't want to take it back to this shop, but the insurance company made me... The body shop wet-sanded the car & left it badly "smudged" & swirled (even on places of the car that weren't involved on the repair), installed one of the channel pieces incorrectly, left a small ding in the driver's side front pillar, left a small ding under one of the passenger side rear door pieces they installed, broke the plastic piece off of the inside trunk latch & didn't fix any of the trunk issues. Additionally, I'm noticing a lot of moisture in my car when it's been in the rain, so I don't think they sealed the rear windshield very well when they replaced it.

WOW.

That's a huge mess. I'd take it up with your insurance company and have another body shop work on it. Write nasty letters if you have to - but make sure you have it repaired properly.

My insurance company will allow us to go to a second body shop if the first one we go to screws up (especially as majorly as your body shop did). This is definitely the case if it's a body shop they recommend.

I had my car in the body shop to fix a dent in the rear quarter panel and they did a fantastic job fixing it.
