Ok guys
I going back to work from nextel comm.(went to pick up my phone) so I see another TL behind me.... anthracite color... guy and his daughter was in it, i tried to slow down and stuff but he was slower than me (i guess he was still in his break-in period) and following cars in right lane ...(3 lane road) so I get to next light, behind civic and the TL makes right turn @ milburn (herndon/milburn)so i guess he lives around my neighborhood, so if u r here, holla back, well neways continue with the race, 3 lane road changes to 2 lane and so now its civic in right lane and i'm in left stopped @ light... I had this feeling that he will try to race, cuz the 2 lane ends into 1 lane... when the light turned green, he steps on gas and i hear his cars tires spinning so i do the same thing and my car's tires are spinning too, and his car's trunk is up to my front passenger road so i'm like **** he's gonna pass me, but then my car just kills him right before the 2 lanes were ending into one... and then i left him in the dust.

btw i didnt use ss mode nor vsa was off.

well it wasn't gonna look good if that green civic had passed me... plus i love the sound of the engine... rpms got to 6500.....

i LOVE reading about races...am just way too scared to race anybody myself...am not scared to lose am jut SCARED of getting pulled over by a car with red, blue and white flashing lights....hehehehe.....oh yeah good one....i guess reading about races from other TLers who have the same car as mine is enough for me...i sort of get an idea of what my car is capable of doing without actually doing it and pushing it sooo hard....hehehe

ehh...it's not that bad. i've been pulled over when a buddy of mine did a drag run in a parking lot after we got off work like a year ago. we then went down a street and they busted us. they didn't even ticket me but they ticketed him for rolling through a stop sign. maybe we just got lucky.

with their neons, huge wings, loud exhausts that have no impact on performance what so ever hehe

yea i agree they can beat us but there arnt many 'tricked' out civics ...i mean REALLLY 'tricked out'
to get the same amount of power to the wheels our TLs have they would need ****loads of mods...
a gutted civic with a completly built block and turbo...yea sure it can beat us

There is a legion of slammed civics up here. I dusted quite a few with my TLS. I dont think they would hold a payer to my 6 speed unless it was Nox.

250 Shot NOS

it would put out 350+ hp, weigh half as much, and cost half as much as a TL... it doesnt take a ****load of mods.

ummm...i'm no expert here nor is most of the people on this forum, but i do have some common sense...and i dont see how a "stock" civic's motor can handle a turbo PLUS 250 shot of NOS...

can u please clarify for us?

I'm not a hater, but i've seen civics up here race with modified engines running 100shot and still manage to blow things...I've also used NOS in a maxima...with a 6cyl i was pushing it running a 100shot DRY setup on a stock motor....

you cant just through in a turbo and some nos and execpt to go super fast
you do know that when adding a turbo kit you need to build the block...cant just through in a turbo without providing a strong enough engine to support it
like mgokool said you will blow things running turbo and nos without upgrading other components

well...i wonder how many PSI's hes running in that turbo setup with 250shot NOS...im guessing about 15psi's in that DREAM CAR...

I've seen civics w/ as much as 550 hp w/ out NOS. So don't get to cocky.

Well guys if ya think ya cars will smoke any civic my best freind has one a hatchback 94 with a honda prelude engine in it beleive me u guys would get smoked wanna chalenge it let me know he has a 02 m3 under his kill list beleive it or not well just say his mods are extensive and a real racer does not reaveal whats under the hood!

I was at a stop light against an 80 year old woman driving a 1982 Pontiac Sunfire. Nervously, I stepped on the accellerator the split second the light went green. Within 8.5 seconds we were both up to 45 MPH, but when she tapped her brake to avoid a falling leaf I zoomed past her and took her handicapped spot at CVS.
