I don't think it would've looked to good anyways. Satin black looks best on exotics like SLR, Ford GT, Enzo, etc...

BTW does anyone have info on the upkeep of the paint? I mean i dont think you wax it....And i hear that i'll get shiny spots on the door handles from the oils in peoples hands? any protection that I can use for that?

I love it myself. I would like to do something like this to my mine when it gets older.

The satin black fits Cocoa's car perfectly. The CL is stripped to the bone. Modd'ed motor. The flat black fits the car's persona of "take no prisioners".

That looks like a REAL BAD Earl Scheib paint job- I was looking carefully for paint on the windows and tail lights. The left rear window looks F'd up.

But this is only my . That's why there is vanilla and chocolate.

^^ ....Its plexiglass fool.

That car would eat you in the quarter, on the track or wherever else. Don't car about what mods you may have, this thing is faster. Does it look as nice, prob. not. What he does have over 98% of the Acurazine folks, is originality. Hes not out to impress you, hes out to make himself happy. Chris has a truly unique car, unlike the majority. Hes done a little more than throw a little carbon fiber in his engine bay, like your avatar has suggested, and call it a day.

ITS A TRACK CAR! Not a grocery getter.

WOW- someone needs to take a step back-JUNIOR! I was stating my OPINION! I never said mine was faster, could outhandle his or anything else. I just said I did not like it. You don't like my CF cover, oh well. I'm not losing sleep, considering they are rarer than anything he has. I also don't own the cover anymore. It's people like you who turn others off to modifying. I have a truly one of a kind exhaust- but I'm not bragging about it. If you read my post I said that it was my worth, and I'm not twisting anyones arm.

Have a good night!

P.S. Don't forget to crucify the writer of post 87!

I'd rather have my "slow" tl-s as a daily driver than that car any day. JUST MY OPINION

^ On the juice (125 shot).

Bought Thinjim's turbo kit for fun.

The lexan was done by myself, and I didn't put a trim around it. So I just painted the damn thing. (will never do lexan again, took 7 1/2 hours)

Never cared for looks, but everyone insisted I did something about the car. So I had it painted 3 times for fun (it was very cheap imo). By the 3rd time I stopped caring what it looked like again. (just my personality, I only care for what it can do, not what it looks like it can do)

Not a daily driver nor can it be.

Cage is being installed as we speak.

What's wrong with the taillights? I don't see it.

3.5L 6 speed lsd about 2800lbs ftmfw!

I'm aware it ain't eye candy. But driving it is another story. And that's all I was going for. Was building something fun to drive at the tracks. I'm aware thinjim's turbo kit is not the kind of power you want in a fwd platform for roadracing. But I bought it for bragging rights, and because I can always lower the boost and detune it to where I want it.

Everyone's opinion is welcomed. I can take both the positive and negative comments. After all, we all have different taste.

Here are two pics with the front bumper on. (I have hood pins installed now to keep that darn hood closed all the way. Ever since I cut the metal from inside the hood it wouldn't stay down)

In this pic you can see where my bullet hole was on the fender. Just threw some bondo over it but didn't bother making it look perfect.

With a blown motor, 320 whp with 380 lbs of torque on the bottle.

The turbo kit I bought off of Thinjim put down 464whp with a 3.2L. I have a 3.5L.

This weekend will be when I hand my car over to someone else to replace a few things and have my heads flow tested. After so, I'll get another leak down compression test to verify everything is okay. I was going to do the gaskets myself, but changed my mind. Thinjim's kit is going to be a big project as it doesn't fit my car. That alone I anticipate putting in a good 30+ hours to do.

So with thinjim's kit I'm going to push for 500whp just for bragging rights, but then detune it to around 320whp. In the three hundred whp range for a fwd platform is about as good as it gets for road racing.

I might add that the mentioned 320 HP is really like 410 HP to everyone else that is sporting oem mass.

3580 / 2800 = 1.278

320 HP x 1.278 = 410 HP
