Sand In My Key!!!

Hello everyone. I went to the beach today and had my key in my pocket. Without thinking i just left my pants in the sand with the 2007 TL key. Now theres sand all over my key and its hard for the key to flip out. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Get a can of compressed air and blow it inside the key. Give it a shot...

Get you one of those air cans from the computer store. Blow it out.

Yeah, I would say a can of compressed air from the computer store or Best Buy should help. If it at least dislodges it, tap on the casing and it may start to fall out.

For other beach goers, a small zip lock bag with all of the air pushed out will solve this problem in the future. Not for water, but def for the sand!

You could also take it apart and make sure the flip mechanism is free of sand..
