Several types of parts may be used when your vehicle is repaired: new parts, both original equipment manufacturer and after-market; and recycled parts. New or after-market parts will be used if we can't find like-kind and quality recycled parts. A 5-year-old car, for instance, would be repaired with parts at least as good as the parts that had been in the car. We guarantee the after-market parts used for these repairs for as long as you own the car.
How much would it cost for all those parts oem? I would do some hunting and see the parts then labor.

edit: I just looked up all those prices and you can pretty much get all oem (with some aftermarket like the shrouds) for equal to or less (the hood is a little more but the bumper oem is less than the Aftermarket) I would look into taking the cash and getting it done yourself. Look into headlights in the blackmarket.

my father-in-law and uncle have been doing auto body for nearly 30 years now, they deal with all kinds of insurance companies. From their experiences, I only use State Farm.

in a couple of occasions, even if they tried to use OEM parts, Geico would not approve, saying that there are aftermarket parts to use instead.

Finally got my car back yesterday from Cherner collision. I was concerned about the replacement parts but Geico and Cherner swear that they are all OEM. I dont see a honda stamp on the hood, headlight or radiator though. Overall they have done a clean job. Just that my right headlight is not focusing properly and needs adjustment. will post pics tonight.
