imo, i think this thread is a waste of time. the s2k was NEVER meant to be a straight line car. it is meant to take turns. that is why it was given the perfect 50/50 weight distribution. it almost handles like a MR.

if a s2k loses to a TL, the person in the TL does not know how to drive.

s2k is 3000 pounds with 200 whp.

tl is 3700~ pounds with 230 whp. the torque is not enough to offset the weight advantage teh s2k has. it is also RWD and it can have wider tires in the back. more tire=more grip.

I "kinda" raced a AP1 on a freeway, it was a 45mph zone and we raced to 100 before the 2 lane merged to one, it was def pulling on me around 70 or so.

Of course I didn't know we were gonna race, but I heard him downshift, so I downshifted to 4th and banged on it.

I think from roll or stop, S2k properly driven will always come on top, they are a little underrated (my opionion) and TL is a little overrated (also my opionion)

I might be biased since I am looking for AP2 to purchase real soon.

All I gotta say is that there are no stock TL that can do sub 14 on 1/4, even 14.0 on 1/4 where S2k 1/4 times are much better.

but of course TL is not a sports car, 6mt or not.
