S.F. Bay Area prices?

I've started my search for a 6-speed TL with Navigation. I was just offered $33,131 for a black/ebony but I really want silver/ebony. This is the first solid offer so far so I'm curious as to what everyone here thinks. Are the Bay Area prices higher than other places in the country?

I got another offer for the silver/ebony but it was $34,400! I told him I'd be more interested if he could at least match $33,131 and include trunk tray, all season floor mats, and even a deck lid spoiler.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I bought the last 2004 6MT/Navi in the Bay Area last September, and the dealer gave me $1000K off (going through my credit union's car-buying service). So, I think that put me at $34,500 if I remember correctly. The new TLs seem to be selling fast and Bay Area car prices have always been a bit inflated, so I'd say the $33.1K offer is damn good, and the $34.4K offer is not too bad.

I also wanted (in order of preference) anthricite/ebony, black/ebony or silver/ebony, but since there was only one '04 left and it was 3 weeks away from the '05s coming in, I settled for silver/quartz '04 model. Now that it's summer, I'm super happy with the quartz(gray) interior over the ebony interior.

I just got one over the weekend, 05 Graphite/Quartz AT w/ Navi for about 33000 at Acura of Concord. You should check that place out.

Update: I went to the dealership and bought the car for $33,100. I've heard others getting a little lower prices but I wonder if the 6-speed with Nav is tougher to get a better deal. I'm very happy with the car!

I got it at Los Gatos too.. $36,486 OTD for 5AT w/ Navi, AM w/ Ebony, all-season floor mats, trunk tray, and wheel locks. Before TTL, it was close to $33,100 or something.

TLTrance,

I bought my car for $33,100 too - NBP/Nav 6-speed. Los Gatos seems to be giving the best price in the Bay Area right now. I went through the internet dealer and she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to my emails, something I can't say about some of the other Acura Dealerships in the Bay Area.

I had a decklid lip spoiler put on a couple days ago and the service was pretty good too. I got a free loaner, a TSX. The TSX is a nice car - good handling, decent power, great fit and finish. I would never trade my TL for it but I would recommend it to others in the market for that type of car.

Let me guess, you went through Jill Pryor?

If so, I totally agree with you.. She's very good, and I just wish other reps were like her. No wonder she's won the Acura Gold award for 6 consecutive years.

Just picked up a 2005 TL black on black with navigations with pro pack and rear wing spoiler for 36K OTD at Oakland. The price of car came under 33k with all the accesories. It was the lowest price in the bay area i could find. Let me know if you would like the name of the sales person. Good luck

Bay Area Prices

Yakuza, you did very well on your price. I bought my car in May of 2004 and paid full sticker, $35,150 from Los Gatos Acura. At that time the TL's with Navi were hard to come by. They had none in stock and I had to wait 3 Months to get mine. Welcome to the world of TL, you will enjoy your car!!
