rusted rotors

OK guys i know ive seen a thread on thsi b4 but listen ic annot find it in search ...

Ive had my tl for about 3 months now and i have rusted rotors and my brakes dont feel like the bite as hard as they used too .. i have tons of chips and rattles but i dont want them to rip apart my car n i get it back n the rattles will be worse .. will the dealer cover the rusted ....cuz i have checked my mom n dads cars n they do not have this and there 3 years old

Whoa, slow down and work on typing the message in a clear and concise manner! I had to read a few sentences several times to understand what you're saying.

All rotors can rust and as far as I know, some heavy braking tends to get rid of the rust. If not, the dealer can take the rotors, turn them, and take care of the rust for you. And yes, they should cover it under warranty.

all rotors and calipers get rust on them. if you do not like the way it looks you can always sand the rusty areas and paint them. the dealer will not replace them for normal surface rust. as far as the way they feel could be caused by glaze building up on the rotors. if you are hard on your brakes that is probably why it feels different. to get rid of the glaze all you have to do is resurface the rotors and sand the pads.
