rugs

if i put my rugs in the wash and dry it will it get messed up?

Don't think it should mess them up...it may mess up your washing machine though?? they are kinda big for the machine i would think...anyone try this at home?

well i live in a aot building so theres a million washers and dryers but i just want to know if my rugs will get messed up

Washing them no, drying them yes.

So wash them, but let them air dry...

best way is to put them in the washing machines with some light soap (half of what you would normally use) and then let the machine run. Then once they are washed take a wet vac. and suck up the water. OR you can do the poor-mans method placea bath towel on top of the mat, step around on it and use it to suck up the water. Change towels and repeat as necessary.

If you're oven is big enough...put them in the oven at maybe 120 degrees for a few hours. That's how I dry my shoes.

at that temp you risk melting the plastic underneath.

well guys i put them in the wash and they came out looking brand new.... even my girl said something about them when she got in the car.. the car smells great too lol... 1st i put some SHOUT and rug cleaner on it and scrubed it then i put it in the wash with some gain and they were dry when i took them out the wash... ty for the tips guys....
