I have a taupe interior also. I got the black all season mats (the only two colors offered by Acura are black and an ivory color). They work great and look great with the taupe interior. The OEM mats have the "TL" logo on them and hook into the floor. I don't know about the aftermarket ones hooking into the floor, but I know they won't have the "TL" logo on them. The price is probably going to be a bit more from Acura, but they look much better IMO.

contact tim@ hondaacuraworld.com for some of the best prices around. If you want something to match the interior of your car, find an upholstery shop that can dye the matts to the car's interior color.

black rubber mats from costco
i have toupe interior and i got really nice black rubber weather mats at costco for 30 bucks... much better than the Acura ones because of the thickness of the rubber and durability.

I just bought these in tan for my '04. I was looking for mats where the rear hump would be covered and that nothing would get over the edges. The thickness does not compare (they are thinner) to their other line of all-weather floor mats (or probably those from Acura), but the fit and coverage is excellent. They do attach to the driver side hooks. The pics on the website are from a TL so you can see them exactly.

both aftermarket and OEM are great, but i went with OEM because i like keeping my car as original looking as possible.

I would go for the weathertechs the OE rubber mats are alright but if you get any snow it just melts off and runs onto the carpet anyway. I have both but after the first winter I replaced the OE's with the weathertechs they offer much better protection
