RPM's too high?

RPM's too high?

I know that it is definitly not good for the car, but sometimes when I drive in SS, I forget that im in it and redline. Is this really that bad for the car or is it ok every now and then?

Its ok.....everyone does it from here to there.....the rev limmiter is there to protect the engine from damage.

i agree too but reving it high all the time will KILL your engine on the long run.

No. Its fine, actually the rev limiter is conservative the engine could probably rev safely to at least 8k but obviously it wouldn't last very long doing that.
