Royal purple auto transmission fluid?

So I just bought my 2006 acura tl. It has about 96,000kms. The ATF looks brown to dark brown. I am thinking about putting royal purple synthetic tranmission fluid in it. I had it in my 2000 honda accord and it's good stuff. What do you guys think?

How do you know it's great stuff? Advertising? Many tests done and it was found that aftermarket cover all generic trans fluids do not have the ingredients that the factory fluids contain, at least not to the same levels.
Just an FYI-The trans fluid is dyed red to distinguish it from other fluids and it will change color after a period of time which is perfectly normal.

There is a thread in the 3G garage on the drain/refill procedure in which he (Road Rage) used Amsoil ATF and supposedly it is a suitable relacement for Z1. I am not sure if Royal Purple will work for our application. It also says that with the Amsoil shifts are firmer which usually means less wear on clutch packs. I am in the same boat and think I am going to go with Amsoil ATF. I will post the link if I find it..
:EDIT: here it is

Thanks man I appreciate your help, just be nicer next time and it's all good. Hey my bro had an idea of using the stock intake and just attaching a k&n filter on it, that way your not really modifing the natural aspect of the acura engine...what do you think?

Agree. The Z1 has additives that causes (on purpose) the clutch to slip to produce that luxury-car, smooth shift. BTW, I use Mobil1 Syn ATF which has firm shifts.

With the problems Acura has had with Trannies, I'm reluctant to use anything but Acura/Honda fluid.

If the trans goes bad, it's on them.
