rotors change help...

hi everybody i need help how hard is it to take off the brake caliper to change the rotor this is my first time if its to hard then i will let a prfessional do it

Brake calipers are held on by only two bolts. To move the caliper away from the rotor, you will also have to disconnect the bracket that holds the brake hose to the knuckle.

The real trick to get the rotor off is those damn retaining screws. They usually freeze to the rotor and require an impact driver (or a drill) to get them off.

And finally, everything must be reinstalled and tightened to the proper torque values. If you don't have the shop manual (which has the instructions to do whatever you want), then you don't have the torque specs. If you don't have the toque specs, you shouldn't be working on your car.

And if you don't have a torque wrench, obviously you have no business working on your suspension...

if you have a good how to guide (probably found on here somewhere), it'll take the first wheel 2 hrs, and every wheel there after may take you 30-40 mins a piece.
