So Im at the Gas station last night and I hear two guys within earshot talking about my car. One is convinced that it's a Saleen?

I drove away laughing my a$$ off, although wishing that I had the same WHP as one.

I love living in the South...only a bumpkin could mistake a TL for a domestic car (yes, yes, I know they're built in Ohio...you know what I mean). You should've crushed their hearts and told them it was Japanese.

I was in a buddy's black TL picking up something from the hospital, I jumped out to pick up somthing from the lobby and heard to security guards say, thats not a TL, they thought it was some sort of exotic car, I know it sounds strange, but the car was slammed to the ground and blacked out with the RJ kit and 19" Chrome Inspyres. Looks so nuts.

Last year, after i had my car lowered one guy walked around my car with his arms folded and one hand proping up his chin asking me, acura makes this car? which acura is this. So i said yes sir this is an acura tl. he still dont believe me and made another circle around my car, but i dont have the badges so he probably thought i was pulling his leg.

People have a lot of trouble identifying my car... it's debadged, has the whole RonJon treatment, and is completely blacked out. I'd love it if there was a RonJon front grille, but my grille is black, so the Acura 'A' isn't obvious. I've had the BMW suspicion too... by a guy driving an S600 no less.
