RonJon or Mugen body Kits
I have been looking closely at the RonJon body kit and was planning to pre-order the kit in the near future. I went to the Phila. International Auto Show this past week and observed the Mugen proto type TL on display in the Tuner section and now I just dont know. I have been unable to find any information on the Mugen kit so far except for a photo on their website.
I'm looking for any information on these two kits or anything else out there in body kits and front grill replacements.

RonJon 100%. I decided not ot keep my TL for a long time, will bring it back before the end of the lease (ballon payment), in about 2-3 yrs; otherwise, i would get the RonJon kit.

Wow I usually like Mugen and when i saw this thread I was thinking i was going to end up in the same dilimma as you... but I really DONT like that Mugen.
I dunno if the websites support me linking them but just look at these two, even if the RonJon isn't on an actual car you can tell it'll look way better:
NO CONTEST (hopefully you can see these)!!

i probably would not go with either one but if i had to choose i would go with mugen simply because of reliability. they are a pretty big name company and can produce kits that are durable and fit well. from past experience when getting stuff from smaller compaines the quality and fitment was always an issue. mugen has already made a prototype version as you can see from the pictures. its been over a year and we just see rendered photos of the ronjon kits. i don't mean to put down the ronjon but that is just my take on things.

Thanks for all the posts!
I have been giving it some thought and I think that I really would like to have the kit install like the OEM kit right over the factory parts. The Mugen rear valance installs just like the factory Aspec piece so I like that and the front bumper replacement by Ronjon rocks except that I personally dont like the vents located at the right and left top center, So I might just go with the factory front piece. Who knows I will probably change my mind a hundred more times before the kits are available for sale. It sure would be nice to see the RonJon kits on a proto type to see the fit and finish.

Thanks guys, I should have some pics of the kit in progress this week, I'll def post them when I get them. btw, check this kit I am doing for the TSX, a bit different from the TL, but still kept it in the family:
from this:
by the way, the side skirts on the TL have been updated to this, cleaner and actually fit the Engineering requirements better:

Rondog, Love the kit, and these side skirts are way cooler. Its a shame you weren't able to have a proto type done for the area auto shows to put your right next to the Mugen TL, yours would have destroyed it. I checked out your web site and personally think the prices for the kit are very reasonable, especially already painted.
Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing real pic's.
