i'm interested in this lip kit, but everytime i contact RonJon they tell me it'll be available soon. they've been telling me this since June. Has anyone heard any details on it?

 

I've been waiting for this product for a long time myself. Can we get an update ron?

I believe he is working on getting more wheels out first. proabaly wont be till springtime...i want this kit as well!

 

He should at least give us a general time or season that its coming out, not just saying its coming out soon where people like me and gunner think its next month.

Nope . . . only for the Type-S since he already has a kit for the TL-P.

 

i emailed them at the beginning of Sept. and i've been talking to the same guy the whole time. he's been really helpful , but I would just like to have an idea on when I would receive it if i pre-order.


yeah, he said that they had to divert funds for a wheel project. are you sure about springtime?

 

YEAH.... Ron Dog has been saying that he had put the extra $$$ into getting his new rim line up off and running.. I think he has more new rims this year than every other year combined....

Maybe if enough members could show interest and even put a deposit down???.... Maybe then he could get it back on track.... depending on how much time that he has.....

There were plenty of interest when he ran a poll on the lip kit a while back. Some update would be nice.

We have technical difficulties in the prototypeing of the kit due to our supplier. They aren't able to continue providing us with a High quality kit, so we have to put this project on hold, any further updates will be posted on our site, thanks.

ok, Ima start a thread regarding the kit, because we redesigned it. And we found a supplier I am willing to take a risk with. He was telling me about urethane and carbone fiber that would be partially painted to get the right effective two tone look. here is what i came up with...

how much is this gonna run ?

 

also, anyway we could see it in a different color to see what it looks like with the two-tone (just want to make sure i understand what part is silver/gray/carbon fiber).

I wonder if you could get just the RJ front lip for the TL-S. Then get the Acura A-Spec

rear and sides. I like the Acura A-Spec rear lip better then the RJ. IMHO...IMHO.......

 

I like the original design way more. I like the simple, refined look and I think the original design will flow better with the Aspec sides + rear like JD had mentioned!
