This is why you shouldn't get Bosch Icons..cause they fly off in an accident ![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
jk glad to see you're alive and relatively uninjured considering the magnitude of the crash. Grats on the new TL pick up.
maybe send your story to Acura's site? I know they have testimonials..."My Acura saved my life" lol

OMFG that's some scary shyttttt. This what makes me be a proud owner of an Acura TL. Its safety is not comparable to nothing else. I'm glad you're ok man and happy that you can rely on a TL again! Let's go Acura!

That's an awful accident and goes to show how safe our cars are. Can you imagine if you were driving some old Ford Taurus or something? You'd be severely injured or dead. Amazing.

Glad you're ok. Cars usually aren't very strong on the roof. They have to survive a rollover but not impacts on the roof.
How did the car roll? I've had mine sideways with sticky tires too many times to count and not even close to rolling. I've passed a truck that swerved over at me and hit the gravel on the opposite side of the road and went past him so sideways that I passed him looking at him through my windshield at 65mph and even though I had the steering almost full lock the other way, I never worried that I was going to lose it. Just turn into it and give it 3/4 throttle.
Car control is sooooo easy. It's almost impossible to ever spin out no matter how slippery it is if you know what you're doing. It bothers me people don't learn how to control their car when it slides. I would be too afraid to drive if I knew if it got sideways it was game over.
I don't mean this just toward the OP, just 99% of drivers in general.
If it were me and I was on my lid and saw a guardrail coming toward me I think I would need a change of underwear for sure.

Thank you all for your support for my well being.
I did go to the hospital right after the crash. I was strapped to the stretcher and the whole nine yards.
For the fellow Torontonian. I was travelling northbound on Airport Road just north of Highway 9.
There is actually a sign up there that says since 1978 there has been over 4000 accidents in the next 20km of road. I should add a +1 to that.
I was travelling approx 100KM/H.
When I first started skidding i was just hoping to regain control without scratching the beast. After my first roll i thought ok well so much for that.
It was scary as hell seeing the edge of the guard rail coming straight ahead. I thought it was going to come right through the windshield. I just held the steering wheel white knuckle tight at 10 & 2 (which looked like 8&4 because i was upside down lol) and holy sh*t did the front of the car ever absorb that impact well. Other than the scratch on my arm.. nothing.. no bruise on my chest. no bump on the head.
pretty lucky.
It should be any day now that insurance settles up my claim and I'll get out of this rental corolla and into that new 2008 TL.

So were the Popo at the scene within seconds? That strech of roadway is normally heavely policed. You sure you weren't on Hockley Valley Rd?
