RockBlocker Tint ?
So I'm getting at Black on Black TL and I want to tint the taillights. Would you suggest the 20% film or the darker 35% film? Which one would look better? Any pics of both. I see pics of cars with the Rockblockers but I dont know what % the film is.
Thanks

Both shade of tint looks very good on Black and few other colors (white, silver). 20% is good enough if you worry about cops might pull you over. 35% has better looks.
This is 35% rockblocker tint on 3g TL from the last SoCal Meet:
And here is 20% tint (lighter) on 2g TL at the same meet:

Without the direct sunlight, 20% looks pretty dark enough:

It just sticks on, make sure it's sunny. If you only got tints for the back, they may not be big enough, so the heat will allow it to stretch. Use a razor to cut off the excess. If you got the side marker tints, they're generally too big so you'll need to cut those off too. Start from the inside out, so from the license plate towards the side of the car. At least this is what I found out when I put on mine about 2 years ago. Still running strong and looks mighty fine.
