If it's just the bumper you'll be fine. They're easily replaceable.

Sooo what happened he brake checked you or something? I can't imagine someone slamming on their brakes because they were bored or something. Glad the damage look relatively minimal and that your ok.

I've been a little north of Philly all week for a business trip and 95 is a mess right now. That could have been alot worse...

Agree seems to be more to this than meets the eye, but the important thing is Op is ok and minimal damage was done.

We'll I made a insurance claim and it's getting inspected by Allstate Tuesday morning. Should I be weary of anything like them trying to take the cheapest route or will they write me a check for a new bumper. I'm hoping it's the latter but I'm always expecting to be screwed

Update- i took it to Allstate for a inspection and he told me I need a new bumper the chrome around the grill and the plastic grill behind the emblem which he estimated to be 828.50 including 48$/hr in labor does this sound right to y'all?

That sounds reasonable, if you get away for under $1000 in any accident these days you've done well. Take it to a body shop you trust to get an estimate, the estimate would be free. Also, Allstate probably works with local body shops in the Philly area and they would honor that estimate.

48/hr for body work is damn good.. but if we're talking about just replacing parts. It's just good.
