Rims

Where should I look online or in a local store to find a new set of rims for my TL? Any opinions which store is the best/cheapest all around good place to buy from?

I would suggest that you test fit before buying anything online because you have the 6MT and need to clear those Brembos.

i noticed you have 6MT when you shop around make sure the rims clear the brakes. if you checkout tirerack.com they have rims listed that will fit the 6MT, the selection is not the greatest but there are some. i think the offset for the rims should be 45? the stock 17 inch rim i believe is 8 inch wide so if you find a fimilar wheel that is 17x8 with a 45 offset it will fit. i think alot of wheels are 40 offset and that is why they don't fit the 6MT.

If you find out a particular wheel fits, I got mine wheels for my 5AT at Victoriatire.com. They're cheap and have cheap freight. If you have a test fit done local you can price check them with online stores like Victoriatire.com.

As a side note, I looked at my 5AT calipers and could barely get my finger in there...I just don't see how ANY aftermarket wheel would fit with those much larger Brembos. So as previous posters recommended, a test fit is a must.
