Didn't know it could happen to me.. I was on 280 coming home from serramonte mall when a primered toyota corolla(they exist) was all on my ass(i was in my 03' type S) I was watching him thru my rearview swerving recklessly to pass me.. Finally the was clear road and he jumped to my right and gunned it..when he was a car or so ahead of me I dropped it down to 3rd and put block lengths on him in no time.. by the time I slowed back down I couldn't see him.. I took my exit(2 lane exit) and before you know it he comes blazing by and rev's his car while he passed me (scared the shit outta me with his loud exhaust)..I wanted to chase him down and whoop him again but I let it go. I've fell victim to a "fly by" before, but this one, it just hurt..lol

 

i hear ya. i've had a few chances to put some ricers but bed but my girl said no.

 

lol...why even bother - you know you had him! although I do know a guy that is puting an engine out of a toyota eleven into a geo (the one that is a rebadged corolla)...

It's just so hilarious to see a economy car with barely 100 whp floor it with a loud ass fart can.

Typically I just shake my head and laugh to myself while continuing to cruise at a nominal speed. I have nothing to prove to them, I know they look at my car with envy as they pass by.

 

i had a civic hatch pull up next to me the other night..iwas doing about 40 and he slowed next to me, revved a couple times and took off. pulled up at the next light and he revs again takes off..you shouldve seen the look on his face when i flew by him with VTEC in full song

 

Sometimes may be they just want to see how fast our cars are...just like how some of you try to get M5 or Ferrari or something stupidly fast to race!

haha reminds me of when i was headed down to universal studios..we were in my girlfriends camry V6 when a new M5 flew by us. i punched it to catch up to him..yea, that didnt happen , he was gone

LOL. I had a turbo Eclipse try that on me after I put buslengths on him. It was the 4th flyby of the night so since the road was clear and it was late I decided to see just how badly he wanted the flyby. I waited until he was nearly even with me with a full head of steam and then I punched it. He never even got past my front end. Then I let him catch up and punched it again. I did this just to see how far he was willing to go to get around me. Finally, around 140mph he backed off. I know that guy was pissed.

 

I wonder what goes thru their head when they pull a ricer fly by?? Do they think after having their ass handed to them they catch us off guard and that equals a victory for them?
