From Reverse To Drive ? + Tint ?

When I swith from reverse to drive, the car is usually still rolling back slightly...bad for the car/tranny?? Also, not flaming please, but with tint....higher number = darker? So a 20% is lighter than a 30%? How much lighter? Thanks for any responses in advance!!

Are you talking auto or manual?

Also, tint is quoted in % of light transmission, so a smaller number is darker.

Slight rolling isnt as horrible as major rolling...its wear and tear that can be avoided by having the car stopped before shifting (for autos).

It's for an auto...and if I put it in drive....it stays there, goes forward even...what I'm asking about is if I reverse out of my drive way and brake, before I come to a fully complete stop I put it in drive...very bad for the car....or just kind of bad??

backing up, hitting the brakes and putting into drive while it's still rolling will not hurt the tranny. However, if you are backing up quickly and then putting it in gear, you can and will hurt it.
