i wanna get rid of my free license plate frame from the dealer. has their telephone number on it. just wanna see what kind you guys have. i was thinkin carbon fiber for my WDP. other then that i wanna see creative lookin ones.

 

Don't have any pics today, but can get you some. Got mine from Griots. Went with brushed aluminum to match trim. Quality is good. Tried the carbon and it peeled off.

 

Mine is powder coated black with an aluminum Acura symbol in the center. Got it on eBay. Quality is suspect. But, unless you're really looking at it close up, you won't see the flaws.

 

Did you get one with two holes or four?

 

I have chrome license plate covers that say "ACURA TL" on them, I got them at the dealer.

I got the 4 hole frame. Fits well and doesn't cover the VA stickers. The bolt covers are a little suspect. I didn't use them.

I have the one that says "Acura" on the back and "TL" on the front.

A while back I asked if AZ was considering making a license plate frame since they were making those stickers...just a simple chrome like this one with AZ.com (like the stickers) or the AZ logo (like at the top of the page) along the bottom of it



Never heard anything...

 

I like mine, which says "University of Virginia," but if you didn't go to school there it might not be the thing for you

 

Mine says "Injen" on it... and I wouldn't have it any other way

 

Mine says Acura on it. Chrome look. Not very original, but better than the dealer one.

 

I purchased this one from WeatherTech. Expensive, but totally seals
in the place, doesn't rattle, screwwholes covered. Has a rubber gasket.
Recommended if you have a vanity tag you care about. Comes in
many colors.

I bought what I thought wasa nice chrome one on EBay and it rusted
and pitted in a few months. Old story, you get what you pay for...

Those are good frames. I got the carbon fiber & steel braided frames. I put the carbon fiber on my NBP. The steel braided frame looks better on a lighter color. these frames keep all the dirt & water out of the license plates.

Looks a lot better in the photo. But, really isn't bad unless you study every little detail. You can find it on eBay.

 

Im trying to find a plate in this design but just say TL in the center. If anyone knows where i can get one please let me know.
