Requesting OEM Body Kit Installation Assistance

I need someone in the San Diego area, that has installed the OEM body kit. I was playing around with it today, but I got pretty shitty instructions from where I bought my kit, and I was hoping there was someone out there that could give me some good hints and help with the install. Grich4u helped me tremendously with the installation of my door sills, guy pretty much did everything electrical and then some, and my car is almost ready for my new grille and wheels. I just need to get this body kit on there. Any help would be appreciated, I can through a huge discount on a BBK towards the guy who helps me as well as lunch at my business. Thanks

Fitz

You can get installation instructions here. I don't know if they are the same ones you got, but if not they might help a little.

I installed the Aspec struts, body kit, and lip spoiler in less than 4 hours.....It's pretty simple stuff! Don't over analyze the instructions and just go for it! If you have any questions...PM me.

The spoiler is by far the hardest due to having to mark, measure and drill the trunk lid! If you have finished that..... the rest is very straight forward. Removing the rear bumper cap takes about 2 minutes and drilling the four holes through the bumper is a little sketchy even though the holes are marked inside the cap itself. The side skirts should not take you more than ten minutes each...just follow the instructions to slide them off. Do NOT try to pull them off or you will break the clips that hold them in. The two clips at the rear of the skirts need to be pryed out....then just slide the skirt off and place the white clips on your new skirts.

You must have two people to install the rear skirt. It is way to difficult to position the skirt against the bumper cap and align it without the extra help!

The rear underbody is very easy...just sketchy when you drill through your bumper cap. The locations are marked inside your bumper cap which you will see after removing the cap. Be careful and set it on some cardboard or a large piece of carpet so you don't scratch the cap. Although very easy...It just feels weird to drill through an expensive part of the car.

yes, unless you have a very, very slim screwdriver.

You could have already had all the wheels off the car.

Go and see for your self if the screwdriver will fit. I'm guessing, "no" unless you jack up the car to gain clearance.

Wheels don't have to come off...but you will waste more time working around them. The car has to be on jackstands (for height) to drill the small holes on the front and rear skirt anyway.

Hell, I'm surprised he has his wheel choice down to just two now!

By the way, Lokius, if you're still seriously considering the Devotions, you might want to give Rondy a call...

I didn't jack the car up or take the wheels off. For the front, I just turned the wheels. It was a little tight in the back, but very doable. Overall, it wasn't very difficult to install the kit at all and I'm definitely no where near a professional.

yeah I talk alot of shit, but once you see my car I'm pretty sure your all going to shut up and be happy I stuck with it. The interior is done, the exterior is what's going on now, and then intake and the exhuast and I'm done.

Yeah I liked the ronjon body kit, however I absolutely hated how it turned out in person. I'm not talking about the little things like fitment and stuff that Ronjon is fixing right now, but just the way it mixed with the OEM bumper and headlights and taillights, it just didnt look as understated and sleek as what I'm used to. The kit tried to do to much for me, so I decided to get the A-Spec kit.

Wheels, I made my decision, I just gotta see how much I can get them for. I really want to do this 4 wheel BBK kit, and I cant do it, if I have to pay over $3k for wheels and then another $1k for installation of my BBK haha, I will work it out, and as always keep giving me shit

ALright I tried to install the side spoilers, and I'm having problems getting the two rear plastic black bolts to disattach from the rear of the car. Any tips? I dont have the car on a jack so that might be the problem.
